Privacy Policy – Freeway Relocation Van Lines

 

Freeway Relocation Van Lines (“Freeway Relocation,” “we,” or “us”) operates the website located at freewayrelocationvanlines.com (“Website”). This document serves as Freeway Relocation’s Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) for the Website as it applies to the Website’s users.

Freeway Relocation makes the Website available to individuals (“Users” or “you”), and the information you provide is used to provide you with a moving quote either from Freeway Relocation Van Lines or, in the event that we are not capable of serving your needs, to the appropriate moving companies that service your area. All activities engaged in through the Website are subject to this Policy. This Policy explains what information Freeway Relocation Van Lines collects about its Users, how Freeway Relocation uses and/or shares this information, and how such information is maintained. By using the Website, you accept the terms of this Policy.

This Policy applies only with respect to the information collected by Freeway Relocation Van Lines through the Website, and not any information collected or obtained through other methods or sources. Please note that Freeway Relocation may change this Policy at any time (See “Changes to this Policy,” below), and that Freeway Relocation may in the future use your information for additional purposes not currently included in this Policy. Freeway Relocation Van Lines collects Users’ personally-identifiable information (“PII”) that is volunteered by Users. Examples of PII that may be requested and/or collected include but are not limited to: first and last name, address, zip code, email address, telephone number, facsimile number, and company or business identity. From time to time, Freeway Relocation may also present opportunities for Users to voluntarily provide additional information about themselves.


SMS Consent

By using SMS you agree and consent to the SMS Privacy Policy. If you do not consent and agree to this policy, do not provide any information through SMS. These policies are subject to change at any time without notice. Please review these policies for any changes. By using SMS after any changes, you consent and agree to the revised policies.  SMS opt-in or phone numbers for the purpose of SMS are not shared with any third parties or affiliate companies for marketing purposes 


Use and Sharing of PII

Freeway Relocation uses PII to provide the User with information about Freeway Relocation’s services, and to provide Freeway Relocation Van Lines’ third-party vendors with information about the User’s moving needs.

YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE SERVES AS YOUR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND APPROVAL OF THIS PRACTICE. IF YOU WANT TO ENSURE THAT YOUR PII IS NOT AVAILABLE TO THIRD PARTIES, YOU MUST DISCONTINUE YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE.

Users’ PII may also be used to:

  • manage your account and provide you with customer support;

How PII is Protected

We appreciate our Users and take your privacy seriously. Non-Personally Identifiable Information

Freeway Relocation may also collect certain non-personally identifiable information, including but not limited to the information described below.

  • Authentication Tokens: These are small pieces of information that enable the Website to more easily communicate and interact with the User. For example, Freeway Relocation may place an authentication token on a User’s mobile device if a User uses that device to register for the Website. The next time that User uses the Website, Freeway Relocation’s server will recognize the token (and the User) and allow the User to perform certain actions immediately without having to log in.
     
  • Mobile Device Identifiers: Freeway Relocation may collect information about the mobile devices from which you access the Website. We may collect and store the unique identifier assigned to your mobile device(s) by the manufacturer, or other identifying information about your device.
     
  • Other Data: All photographs, opinions, ideas, suggestions, feedback, and all other information submitted by you through the Website may be used by us without any restriction and free of charge.
     

Although the information collected through the foregoing methods does not itself contain any PII, Freeway Relocation may analyze and match such information with other information that you provide (including PII) as well as information that Freeway Relocation may obtain elsewhere. Freeway Relocation may share all or some of such information with actual or prospective movers, van lines, or other third parties.

Freeway Relocation may also disclose non-PII in order to:

  4. protect the rights or property of Freeway Relocation or Users of the Website.
     

Access to Your Information

If you want to review, correct, or change your User information, please submit your request in writing to Freeway@freewayrelocationvanlines.com.


Third Party Services

Freeway Relocation’s communications to you, as well as the Website, may contain links to the websites of other providers of products and services that may be of interest to you. When you click the link to one of these other entities, you will leave the Website and be connected to the website of such entity. In such an event, this Policy will not apply to your use of, and activities on, those third-party websites. Freeway Relocation does not have any control over the information handling practices of these other entities, and you should familiarize yourself with their privacy policies before sharing any PII with them. Freeway Relocation shall have no responsibility or liability for your visitation to, and the data collection and use policies and practices of, these other entities.


Note Concerning Individuals 18 Years of Age and Younger

The Website and the content available in connection therewith are neither intended for, nor directed to, children under the age of 18. You must be at least 18 years old to have our permission to use our Website and to provide your PII to Freeway Relocation. If Freeway Relocation learns that a User is under the age of 18, Freeway Relocation will promptly terminate the User’s account and delete the User’s PII from our records. We will not knowingly disclose or distribute such information to third parties.


Security

While Freeway Relocation takes reasonable precautions to safeguard information transmitted between Freeway Relocation and Users of the Website, Freeway Relocation may be unable to prevent unauthorized access to such information by third parties or inadvertent disclosure of such information. Please note that a properly licensed interstate broker, such as Freeway Relocation Van Lines, is not a motor carrier and will not transport an individual shipper’s household goods, but will coordinate and arrange for the transportation of household goods by an FMCSA authorized motor carrier, whose charges will be determined by its published tariff. All estimated charges and final actual charges will be based upon the carrier’s tariff which is available for inspection from the carrier upon on Tariff Rates.
